Chances are, the computer you are
using to look at this website uses some form of Windows for it's OS (operating
system). It's also pretty likely that there are updates available to make
your Windows perform better, or fix problems that you may not know it has.
These updates are free, and can be easily gotten and installed by going
to:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
Once there, click on the "Product
Updates" link. Your computer may wish to install a small program
to enable the updates to be identified. Click "Yes"
and/or "OK" to do so.
When you get to the list of updates
available, always at least choose the "Critical Updates"
that are listed. These will fix the little bugs and holes that were
discovered since your Windows was installed in your computer. Just be sure
the box by this is checked, and click the Download button at the top of
the page. There are other things listed, and you can get them, but ALWAYS
get the Critical Updates. You may wish to check this site monthly, or
perhaps you will find listed in the updates the "Critical Update
Notification" option. Getting this will tell you when you go online
if there is a new critical update available, so you can get it, not for-get
it!
